"I want to become a PA because I love to take care of people and help them overcome their obstacles. This profession offers a great work-life balance and ability to give back to the community, because we become exposed to many different facets of medicine. My physician largely inspired me to become a PA because of how easily I was able to form a personal relationship with her; as a PA, I want to empathize with my patients to offer the best support in their situation, because a PA is built upon a foundation of trust and understanding."
